Warranty
Information about the statutory warranty and voluntary guarantee services.
Statutory warranty
As a consumer, you have statutory warranty rights against us as the seller in the event of defects in the purchased item, pursuant to §§ 434 ff. BGB (German Civil Code).
- Warranty period: 24 months from delivery (new goods, B2C)
- Right to subsequent performance (repair or replacement)
- If subsequent performance fails: withdrawal or price reduction
- Reversal of the burden of proof in the first 12 months in favour of the consumer
Note
The statutory warranty applies against us as the seller and is independent of any manufacturer guarantees.
Voluntary guarantee
In addition to the statutory warranty, some manufacturers offer voluntary guarantee services. Whether and to what extent a manufacturer guarantee exists can be found in the respective product information or the manufacturer’s guarantee conditions.
Your rights remain unaffected
A voluntary manufacturer guarantee exists alongside the statutory warranty rights and does not limit them.
Note for business customers (B2B)
For entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB, different warranty rules apply. The warranty period is 12 months from delivery.
Further information can be found in our General Terms and Conditions and on our B2B page.
